As far as the PCV, granted this is just my experience, it's a sign that there is too much pressure in the crankcase and when that happens, anything under pressure will find the easiest way out, be it into the airbox or the like. That was the case for me and at the time, I was not intuitive enough, lol, to put two and two together and figure out I was getting some classic symptoms of some serious engine problems. Found a lot of it when I did the valve cover gasket.....Needless to say, I am now looking for a new engine.

Upgrade to the 6.1 SRT motor! It rocks well it does in the challenger anyway, could you make an adapter plate for the tranny?
What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, unless we end up comatose. In which case we slowly degenerate into a shell of what we used to be.
