Then as per the timbren instructions jacked up the truck put a small block of 2x4 under them and dropped the truck seating the timbrens in the cups. I also install them a few weeks ago.....the quickest and easiest mod I've ever installed. Took less than 10 minutes. Although the instructions suggested jacking up the truck and stuff, there is plenty of room to install them with out doing that. I was really surprised on how easy the factory bumpers removed!
Instead of jacking the truck up and using blocks to 'seat' them, I used a short piece of 1x2 and just pried up on them. Then hooked up my trailer and went for a short drive on a bad road.....these are a great product, and IMO should be standard equipment with the trailer tow package.
