This was easy. My 1996 360 Magnum had the occasional overly rough idle after 117,000 miles. Even on good days it idled a little rough. I've owned this truck since '96 so I know the throttle body hasn't been touched. I remember how smooth it idled back in the late 90s. After three hours, including a trip to town for parts, this process seemed to smooth it up a bit. It still isn't perfect, but idle seems to settle at a lower RPM now and my tach needle doesn't bounce as much. Initial throttle response seems a bit improved. I'm anxious to go on a trip to see if fuel mileage was effected. My next step is to pull off the manifold. It looked pretty gummed up. Maybe I can find some improvement in cleaning that as well.
