Default 94 Ram 2500 8 liter V-10 Ignition Module

My ignition module that controls the 4pk coil set is out causing the engine to miss. The part is discontinued & there are no aftermarket for these still made.
Can't seem to find one in any salvage yard across the country.
There is no rebuilding because the pc board has thick epoxy on it.
Even tried to come up with a schematic so i could have one built but had no luck there either.
I'm told 94 & 95 were the only years that the trucks had a module for each set of coil packs but i don't know that for sure.
My question is, does anyone out there know if i can swap the wiring harness & ECM & ignition module to a later model & make it work on my 94?
The truck has an automatic transmision, i have been told swaping ECM's might cause shifting problems, but i do not know.
What i do know is this engine has low miles & it's still a good clean truck, seems crazy to scrap it over one little electronic part!
Anyone out there have any thoughts? Please let me know, thanks.
