Glad I found this posts! I have a '98 White 2500 Quad Cab 2500 short bed with matching white nerf bars.

The previous owner was from Seattle. So now I have the surface rusting road spray along the bottom rocker panels.

This weekend I removed the black body moldings, only to find they used some helluva adhesive in some years prior. I ended up sanding off too much paint. I ended up rattle canning a touch up.

I had been thinking of going from the molding line down to the bottom in a matching white bedliner material that should be a good DIY project.

Any opinions on this kind of look? Would you stick with white to blend in with the truck or contrast with black?
