From what I have read (never attemted this either, so take it for what it's worth)

I read that you can connect the remaining blue wire from the Scoche harness to the remote turn on wire from the aftermarket harness, and it SHOULD work. While I don't recommend this route, it may be an option.

As for the issues with the Infinity system......

First, they use some of the cheapest drivers imaginable coupled with a second rate at best amplifier and then separate frequencies between speakers that make no sense. Instead of sending full range signal each speaker, and using inductors or inline crossovers, they sent bandpassed signals from the amp, that makes it all but irrelevant to change your speakers. I am sure you will read about lots of folks complaining that after they changed the Infinity speakers to something else aftermarket, they are not pleased with the output.......well, this is why.

If it were me, I would completely bypass it all together and install my own drivers and amplifiers, but thats me....
