Hence the term, 'flex fuel'. Know your differences in performance in the various fuels, and costs. When it's more economical and available...use the E85.

My worries with the alky, is the poor storage some refueling stations have. Since it is VERY hydroscopic in nature..... Just how much water are you pumping in your truck. As more and more people use it, theoretically the fuel should be 'fresher' in the tanks. In the eary years, (3-4 ago) it was getting 'stale'. not enough turnover.
I think by now, on the main drags, it should be pretty safe.
Ideally, a storage tank should be 'sealed' from the atmoshere. And that type of storage is just another expensive cost for the station to pass on to me and you.
