Without getting into exact numbers, an basic small block engine can easily pump through 600cfm. A really powerful high volume 4" computer fan can deliver ~50cfm. The reality is; even at idle, the air demand of the engine is greater than the fan can produce.
Now....if it had a 50HP motor and turbo veins and turned at 30,000 rpm.....that's different story.....but I think ProCharger already has that available.....but it's a few bucks more than the $225 for the electric.
Thanks for the info, I went and edited my post and took out the computer fan...
but I swear that thing looks like an old school ducted fan motor.
