EGTs are determined by air/fuel ratio more so. I don't doubt it would lower it...but, adding more fuel would lower it even more...to a point. Don't make it over rich either, because then it will have raw fuel in the exhaust and it will ignite in the turbo which will thus cause high EGTs.

Then again, I'm speaking in terms of gas motors...diesels...for all I know they could be the absolute opposite.
