Post Upper Control Arm Bushing Replacement

How would I remove the upper control arm ball joint on a stock 2002 dodge ram 1500? And, after removal, is the ball joint able to be re-used? As all I really need to change are the bushings, but they don't come out very easily without complete removal of the upper-arm. Of course, if it is better to not chance re-using a removed ball-joint I would gladly buy a new one.

But before I do that I need to know how to get the damned thing off haha.
I've removed the two nuts and bolts that hold the top of the arm on each side (where the bushings are located), but down at the point where the arm V's I can't seem to remove the joint. It has a nut on the underside which I removed and it looks as though the ball should be able to be twisted out. It seems really tight though so out of fear of damaging something by doing it wrong I'm asking for some detailed instructions on doing this because I'm kind of a DIY noob when it comes to suspension.
