Did you check the plenum gasket with a vacuum gauge? That's the only right way to do it since you can't see the gasket without removing the intake. No DTC's doesn't mean it can't be something like a MAP sensor sending faulty info to the PCM so checking it would be a good idea since it can fail and not set a code. What sort of test are you going to do on the sensor? Do you have a lab scope you can use to watch the waveform?
