Default Adding a spare diesel tank.

I want to add a spare diesel tank to my 2008 Dodge Ram diesel and have a few questions? The tank will be in the bed of my truck mounted behind in the cab. It will have a fuel transfer pump in the tank and would like to mount a lighted switch in the cab. My thought was to drill a hole in the box and run the hose from the tank though the hole and a gromit and tee in to the fuel filler hose. Also run a wire from the pump though the box under the truck along the frame and up the fire wall into the cab.I would wire the switch to the ignition so the pump will only run with the key on. I thought I might mount the tank on some rubber spacers were the tank touch's the truck bed(between the bed and tank and back of bed and tank). My questions are:
1)Does this sound like I have planned it out properly. Any thing to add?Any
better ideas?
2)If this is Ok, what size filler hose size tee do I need?
3)Where do I mount the switch. I thought up high where I see it if it was on. I
don't want to take my whole dash apart to mount a switch thou.
