I would like a wider tire if possible but not necessary Has anyone done this? or anyone have a better recommendation. THis is my first 2wd truck ever so I don't plan on lifting. I just need the truck to look a bit meatier. Any thoughts or pics ?
my cousin has 265/75r16's on american racing wheels with no problems on his 96 x-cab 2wd. they look good and fit fine. don't know what the backspacing is on those wheels. are you gonna get a differently backspaced wheel?
you could look at 235/85r16's. they are a little skinnier than 245 you are running now but are taller than the 265.
