Default Possible differential problem 05 hemi 1500

My 05 Ram has started to make a bad noise , I'm pretty sure it's in the differential, but only if I accelerate harder than normal driving. I seem to remember that some 1500 owners had something come loose in the differential. I thought it was a front axle, but I replaced it and no difference. My truck has 140,000 hard miles, some of them skidding logs out with 11,000 lb rated tow rope, which I have broken off several times. 4X4 low range, she will pull like a locomotive. It's kinda hard to tell if it's the differential or the transfer case, but I think it makes the noise in 2wd also. Our roads are snow covered today. Any suggestions, before taking to expensive dealer? I am not gonna drive her till I get an idea, what's up.
