it has a sealed bearing. the bearing and wheel hub is one piece. I don't know what the torque specs are for the axle nut, but it took a 1/2" drive breaker bar with a 8' cheater pipe to break them loose the first time.... could it be something to do with the geometry of the wheels. Like bad ball joints or something.. I'm not sure what it's called but the strut like piece on the front of the axle housing looks alittle beat.. Could that be it? I'm wanting to lift this truck but want to fix it before I do that and possibly mess it up worst.
