When I ported my TB on my Lightning, yes I had to adjust the TPS. It's really simple just loosen the screws and move it till the idle goes down. It doesn't move much so no worries.
Loosened up the screws and fiddled around with it a bit and it made no change in RMP.
When I start her up the idle jumps up to 1600ish and floats back down to 1050-1100ish.
Cold or warmed up she now idles at 1050-1100ish.
It acts like the TB return spring is un hooked because of the way the idle floats down. but its on and has good snap back.
