When I had the plenum out, I did another low cost mod. I removed the divider that is in the intake, seperating it into two halves, and made it into a single plane. The newer intakes have the plenum divider left out by Mopar, but this one had it. I used a vice grip, and bent the aluminum a bit , so it chipped off. It is very brittle, and came out in pieces. I was careful and left a little bit of divider just under the throttle body holes. I then took a die grinder, and ported the throttle body holes a bit, making sure they were as big as the v-8 TB, and smoothing, and blending the inside of the holes. I got carried away, and did some blending on the 6 intake runner openings, too. I used some foaming engine cleaner, and water to clean the intake really well. I don't know if this mod does a whole lot, but I had the time, and it was easy to do. The truck has much better torque now, and is a good reliable daily driver.
