Ok so here is what i emailed mikey at diablosport.

Vehicle Year: 2009
Vehicle Make: Dodge
Vehicle Model: Ram
Vehicle Engine: 5.7
Additional Mods: 180stat,Trinity,Volant Intake,American Racing Headers No Cats,Raceland E-Cutout,BBK 90mm Throttle Body,MSD Coils,NGK Iridiums, Removed Stock Clutch Fan

Tool: Trinity
Revision: u7137

Can someone show me how to setup my trinity to log Ping/Knock/Detonation Data so i can see if i am getting knock or ping or detonation or whatever the prefered term is. I want to find out what my truck likes for octane. What sensors do i need to use, what am i looking for such as limits for the sensors and so forth. Any help on the matter or even a reference guide would be great. Yes this is an awesome tuner but now its just laying around not getting any use and i would love to try to make it work to better fine tune my truck. Thanks

And this is what i got back from Mikey........

The preloaded dashes should have LT_KNK and ST_KNK PIDs in there already, which will show you how much timing is being pulled.
