LOL!!
I call it 'The Grunt' when the traction control kicks in...that is really the only thing that bothers me...when I am trying to get into traffic and I have to pull out from a dead stop, sometimes it is hard to get going...I have gotten in the habit of putting it in 4x4 to get going otherwise it takes a bit and 'the Grunt' starts LOL
But as for the down shift I never really paid attention to it. but then again I am, pretty cautious when I drive on an icy road and I haven't had a problem.
I also read the thread where the truck rolled, but to be honest the safety equipment did it's job and I am just glad the driver was able to walk away from the accedent with VERY minor injuries.
