I talked to a tech already. He said it sounded excesive but that they couldn't just take my word for it. So the next oil change (coming up) I'm taking my oil and filter to them and pay them the fee to pour it in. The benefit is that then they have a documented milage for the change and when I bring it back in 2000 miles down a quart they can see what I'm talking about.
