Thanks for the clarification re: gage failures. i should have been more specific about the sensor. i've been reading there are oil pump issues as well which led me to wonder if it was real. my truck now has a very noticeable tick on the driver's side of the engine. it was louder when i first saw the delayed oil pressure reading. today, when i started it to go plow it was delayed as well, but not as long. the tick isn't as loud today. Must be a lifter, no?
