Misty Maddog is probably correct in two ways .You really don't want to try to remove the diverter valve yourself and it's a nasty job unless you know what your doing.. Also if you do decide to replace it yourself .By all means wear long pants and not a skirt . You'll need to get upside down on your back on the truck floor ...NOT the most lady like position.. Or you may well get more heat than you need .. (Joke) ..Really it's best done by a pro and more thab likely the cause . .
