I'm gonna have to shoot it with my infared thermometer when I'm home from school. It all depends on the type of driving of course. I think when I checked the exhaust in front of the muffler on the cummins in was 232-234 degrees and I cant see wheels getting anywhere near that hot maybe 120-150 degrees
