I have never been off road, I have 16,000 miles on the truck and have had the problem almost from the day I bought it. It has been to the dealer 5 times so far and have give up on them finding the problem. I started at the connector in the rear and working my way to the front checking the wires. I have done this twice already but this time cutting the tape/cloth off the wires so i can really see the wire. I don't like having to mess with the factory wires but I have to find the problem. I'm up to the fuel tank now and half to pull the tank down to check the wire. I'm open for suggestions if someone knows of an easier way to check the wires.
