OK… In the oil pressure sending unit picture, to the left of the ignition coil (as viewing from the picture) toward to fire wall and attached to the BLOCK is where I installed the new sending unit. The connection that you show in the picture looks as though it is on the intake manifold. From the looks of the picture you have an aftermarket intake manifold and carb. To see the unit you almost have to be laying on top of the engine. Also… If this is an aftermarket intake all you need to do for temperature is find a plug on the FRONT portion of the intake manifold (as the one in the pic). Make sure when you pull one of the plugs you see radiator fluid or residue from fluid. Typically aftermarkets put to vacuum ports on the back of the intake (behind the card).
