Default Iron Bull Bumper Installed

Hey Everyone!

I finally got my bumper installed on my truck! It took about 4-5 weeks for me to get the bumper delivered to my door. It was definitely worth the wait since it is such a great piece. I chose Iron Bull since they ship their bumpers out with their armor coating already on it. All the other guys ship em out just ready for paint. I think the bed liner style coating gives it a rugged look, really highlights the bumper.

There is some info that might help someone else down the road about getting one of these bumpers. The info is if you have a body lift then the bumper will not line up perfectly. I know this since I have a body lift haha. The bumper has 3 bolt holes on each side to go on the frame. I had to lift the bumper up so it would only use 2 rather then 3 to give it more height. I am going to have to make a custom bracket for this bad boy to match it up perfect. I actually do not mind how it looks now but I would like it to be a little cleaner. I just wanted to get it on so I could drive the damn truck!

If you are looking to get bigger tires without a big lift then I think this bumper could help you out. Since the trucks usually have a rake the tires will rib at the bumper first. These style bumpers give you SOO much more room for tires. This saved my ass from cutting the bumper heavily. It also gives a sweet look, which is the main thing!
