hello y'all.

ok. so up 94 to early 98 all cummins ram motors were powered by the bosch p7100 (pPUMP) pump which is 100% mechanical injection. there is only 1 electronic part on it, and that is the fuel shut down solenoid. if turning your ignition on and off helps, I'd check there.

the reason why you won't throw any codes is there is no way the computer know what's wrong with the pump.

130k is nothing for your motor I hope you know. and there is no drive by wire on the mechanical injected cummins, not unless you count the vacuum operated cruise control

-93 was the ve mechanical pump, 94-98 was the p7100 mechanical pump, 98.5-02 was the vp44 electronic pump and 24 valve head, 03 and up uses the high pressure common rail cp3 pump
