you do know that the 3.7L was still being used in 2011 Jeeps & 2008 Dakotas
basically they were called the G or RG engine

he EKG is a 3.7 L V6 version built in Detroit, Michigan. It displaces 226.0 cubic inches (3701 cc).[1]The bore is 3.66 in (93 mm) and stroke is 3.57 in (91 mm). It is a 90° V engine like the V8, with SOHC 2-valve heads.
