Yea where in New Jersey are you and when I get up there I'll fix it for you.
Anyways, Yea you could just replace the switch to begin with then replace the bracket. Their isn't a spring as I remember because the pedal is connected directly to the pivot joint on the brake booster. But if you can go to a junk yard and get a new bracket, if you want I can get one for you and ship it for 50 bucks. With switch and all. Just hook it up.
