Magnaflows are straight through, meaning no restriction to exhaust flow. Flowmasters are chambered so have some restriction to the exhaust flow. This is why magnaflows perform better. Also, I think all magnaflows are stainless steel and have a lifetime warranty, so they will last, whereas flowmasters are not (they may offer stainless but their regular mufflers are mild steel). Sound is up to you, it's an opinion, I personally like the maganflow sound better.
