Thinking shorter rims rub in different places, likely cause where the tire bubbles much lower.. possibly the A-arm. So what they are saying is (I think) -12mm is too far out and +12mm is too far in. In all 1 inch differnce between the two extremes. But somehow +0mm is acceptable?

Personally I do think on 305/60/18 that +12mm (on 18x9) is too far in, but suspect -12mm might be fine.

Related, On 20s (not 18s) A while back a Wheel place told me I could run 305/55/20s on 20x9 if I stayed between 0mm and -10mm offset .. any further in or out and i'd be looking at problems. Which makes sense considering guys with 305/55/20s on stock 20s (+18mm), have get a 1/4 spacers to not rub. The offset on our stock 20s and obstructions in the 2wd do really limit choices.

** PLEASE HELP .. Can I run 18x9 -12mm offset 4.5 Backspacing with 325/60/18 on a stock (no lift no level) 2wd 4th Gen RAM w/o rubbing? PLS MSG ME!
