I've run a BT catch can with braided lines on my SRT and it's amazing how much oil it traps.
My TB is amazingly clean so that means not a lot of oil is going to the intake and eventually to the cylinders, where that extra carbon will gunk up the valves, create hot spots and possibly do some damage due to pre-detonation.
I empty mine at each oil change. It appears that I get more oil in it during the summer but that might be because the SRT requires 0W-40 synthetic oil and it goes racing during that time of the year.
I've seen how I can add one to my internal PCV'd truck and am gonna try that soon.
