That's 100% correct....it was my ear and a .44....
Truth be known, MADDOG was consistently offered very good advice on how to get the most out of your Hemi without ripping it apart in favor of track designed racing parts. A few members like myself, often put up resistance to this very good advice, and will come up with all kinds of excuses as to why we will not proceed with the tried and proven.
I my case, armed with great advice, and reading hundreds of success stories, I slowly, but surely evolved my thinking in the direction that has been carefully mapped as the direction for ultimate success.
In the end it's simple, with reluctance to go in the most successful direction, and discovering that it 'did' in fact lead to success, I just had to blame this success on someone...and since MADDOG has been so diligent in pointing out this direction to so many for so long, he was a .... "Natural Target".
Sorry MADDOG, I didn't want to make it sound the way it came out to in the end....it's just my slightly warped sense of humor way of saying that I agree completely with your recommendation(s), and have one spectacular specimen of a Ram to back it up with.
Thank you for continuing to bring such good advice to this forum. I for one, appreciate it, and look forward to much more. Who knows....even I might put up less resistance in the future.
I wouldn't bank on that (brad12kx = max stubborn)....but you never know.
