Yeah that's what I was planning on doing, but it'd take me a lot longer to do, and be a lot messier, then would have to paint it... I decided on the aluminum as I have little welding time and would like to practice more and this is a good project to do that. I'm familiar with FG and I really don't like doing it, it's a lot of work, a lot of sanding to get it to come out smooth, and if I do aluminum I won't have to paint it and it will always look good. Thanks for the offer.
