Default BFG All-Terrain A/T KO

I'm new to this forum and have a few questions. I have a 2006 3500 5.9L CTD SLT Mega Cab 4X4 SRW, stock chrome rims, and currently have Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tires 265 70R17E (stock size tires). I need to replace them soon d/t wear and was looking at the BFG All-Terrain A/T KO tires in 285 70R17E. I have not made any modifications to the suspension and would like to avoid having to go that route. The only modification I've made is putting in a Banks Air Intake w/Super Scoop and 4" cat back Monster exhaust (hwy mileage went from 22 to 29mpg). Most of the tire fitment guides at various websites (i.e. Tire Rack, etc.) only list the 265 70R17s as fitting. I have two questions:

1. Has anyone had any experience w/the BFG All-Terrain A/T KO tires? (I've heard/read that they are a good, long lasting 10-ply tire)

2. Will these tires fit my truck w/o rubbing and w/o having to do anything to the suspension?

Thanks in advance for any assistance
