Default Ram 1500 backup camera with RHB radio

New to the forum and just wanted to say thanks for giving me the idea to install a backup camera into my Ram 1500. Initially purchased the truck in July (2011) off the lot with everything I wanted except the backup camera.

Was initially told by the dealer that there was no way to add the stock Parkview camera to my truck. Then I saw the part no. 82211184 that everyone was referring to. I ran this part no. by my dealer and he said it would not work with my 430N RHB coded radio. After talking to Ram customer support (by phone) and having the dealer double check with the technical reps at Dodge, they all came to conclusion that the part would work with my radio.

Anyway, will take my truck down first thing in the morning (19 Oct) to have the kit installed. Will let you know how things work out. Price was $318 for the kit and approx $175 (quoted) for labor. A little higher than the internet price but installed by a certified dealer will keep my warranty intact.
