Well I got to flushing it today. I did the heater core first, took hose off at the drivers side and at the pass side. It went CLEAR WATER rather quickly. It was dirty at first, not bad at that, then flowed clean water after that. I drained the rad. ran water through it, it was fine. Pushed the water through the pump, it was clean quickly.
So I refilled the system and I am still getting luke warm air at idle when it is at running temp. Once the truck is driving it warms up well.
At idle, running temp left side and right side heater hoses are HOT to the touch. The drivers side rad hose is hot, left side of rad is hot gets colder as you move to the right side of the rad and that lower hose on the pass side it cool.
Seems the blend door is working, when the heat is blowing how or even warm when I turn it to COLD the air goes COLD. This summer when the AC was used it worked fine, on cold it was cold, when it was changed to hot it warmed up.
Soooooooo?
