Leave the rear end alone. With a leveling kit, 33's will work. The rub with a set of 35's isn't on the inside, they are too tall and rub on the trailing edge of the front fenders.

A rub inside means you've gone too wide with the tires on the stock wheels. You can avoid that by 1) not exceeding 305 section width - these may rub at full steering lock, or, 2) going to a less positive offset wheel. You still need the height clearance for 35's of any width.
