Awesome story thanks for sharing! I was a volunteer firefighter for about a year and a half and was only a first responder. My very first call was huge brush fire at an old refinery. Mutual aid consisted of a number of connecting cities, BLM and SO. I did way more then i should have and got away with it. My pucker moment was after a fully engulfed house fire we were putting out hot spots in the living room when all of a sudden i see the entire brick fire place and chimney falling over and headed right for me. I was cornered and only had one option and that was to jump on the ruined leather couch and hug the wall. Chimney barely missed me and i was on my toes for the rest of the night!
