Default Pinion Seal Leak

I noticed an oil leak from my 2003 dodge ram 2500 rear end. Did some checking and found it was coming from the pinion seal.I was told I'd need a seal and new torque pinion nut to do this job.
Are there anymore secrets I need to know before I tackle this job?

Tools needed and sizes would be a great help. Thanks,Doc
