The Z bracket is the only way really to install the catch can unless you do some creative modding. The stud that is on the 5.7 and 6.1 HEMIs isn't on the 5.7 on the 10-12 RAM. Also, you might want to consider getting the extension also. The catch can was the first mod I did on my RAM and I talked a great deal about it when I first got on this forum. Even on the BT website, it tells you to use the Z bracket.

As for what brand. It really doesn't matter. They all do the same thing. Whether you get a bully dog or a monoso or a billet tech. It's all about what look you want. Personally I went with billet tech for two reasons. 1. They were the first ones to market a catch can for the third gen HEMIs on the LX bodies and the RAM. 2. They are the only ones in the market to have a clear bottom or frosted bottom opinion. and lastly, they are the ones that are making the Speedlogix and MOPAR catch can. But like I said... it's all about appearance when it comes to the catch can since they all do the same job.
