Congratulations to our November Winner !!
And now a word from your winner.....
First off, I would like to thank all members who nominated and voted for me this month!(and every other month, it seems like I've been nominated for the past year! LOL!)
My name is Dillon Smith, your friendly neighborhood cajun. I live in the one and only New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm only 17 years old and I am still in high school! If you couldn't notice from my username, I am an avid hunter and love the outdoors. I work as a fry cook in a little seafood restaurant. I have a passion for mopars and I got a few of my friends hooked!
I found the Z shorty after I got my first Ram. Like most others here I came onto the forumz looking for answers I had about my truck. I remember that even though the first 5 people that posted on my thread did not have an answer for me, they all greeted me and just made me feel welcome. The friendly atmosphere is what really made me stick around. I remember back when I had my Silverado I was on the Full Size Chevy forum and almost every time I posted I was ridiculed for almost anything, mostly about my age and being "spoiled" Here on the Z I have never had anything happen like that, if anything people showed me more respect for being young and having a love for mopars!
I got my truck about two years ago because I sunk my chevy in a mud hole and it needed a new engine. I didn't have the money to get a new engine put in so I sold it as is. My dad had just bought a new car so his Ram was just sitting, and after some negotiating it was mine! I am very lucky I did not have to pay for the truck, but I have spent over $3,000 in mods that I paid for! You can see all of my mods in my signature.
I would like to thank all members of the Z, it is because of you that I am here right now! When I first joined the Z I literally knew nothing about my truck besides the fact that it was a 2005 Dodge Ram with the 4.7 Because of the awesome members of this forum(and a little help from google) I learned so much about my truck, other trucks, and mopars in general!
I have made some true friends over the years on the forum and it truly is an honor to know all of you. I'm really looking forward to going to Gatty for the first time(if the bank says I can go) and meeting some of y'all(even though it seems like I already know most of y'all) I would just like to thank everyone again and if you need anything feel free to message me, email me, hell even shoot me a call if you want!
