If there was an issue with the motor you would have heard some noise most of the time ( DC motors are very reliable ) I would guess that the switch went or a lose wire fried. I would check to see if there's a circuit breaker first, they some times go, then work your way from there or the motor on back till you find power. I hate taking apart the dash. BE CAREFUL YOU CAN SET OFF THE AIRBAGS WHEN PROBING.
