Thanks Michael. Being that I have tried everything else I think you are right about the tires. The crazy thing is I have had those same tires on a 06' 2500 years ago and I dont remember it handling like that but we will see when they wear down what happens.

The ticking feeling in the steering really feels like something is loose in the suspension. It doesnt feel like a loose wiring harbess or anything like that It is a pretty solid thump like (a little hammer on a pipe)that happens right along with each bump.

I guess in some way I was trying to tie that symptom together with the sloppy handling. Which may be going down the wrong road.... no pun intended...
