The one to the left needs to be followed by one to the right ---> - then + as when you hit it left it selects 5, so to get full 6 speeds you need to hit it to the right after. I tried this yesterday and it never hit MDS and seemed way more responsive. Also I noticed my mpg avg went up from 15.3 to 16.0 over a 60 mile mixed driving run (my usual) but that could be a coincidence.....my truck is coming up on 1K miles so is loosening up a bit which could account for the increase, but then again it could also be that I'm using Shell fuel as opposed to Holtzman (local distributor to my other gas station)......just telling it straight.
Thanks. The only thing is mine is a column shifter. Do I just make sure that I put it in 6th?
