Trailer sway is an indicator of an improperly loaded trailer and can be very deadly. I definately would not reccomend simply loading a trailer and hitting the road at high speed. However, when you set up a light weight purpose built trailer such as I have, you can feel out how it will tow and adjust weight distribution from there to get a safe and predictable experience. My setup is realtively light as well which makes a huge difference. If I was pulling anything over 2000lbs,I would adjust my driving accordingly.
