I`ve never owned a dodge product that hasnt done this. Years ago, when you stepped on the gas in my old dodge`s, the heat would go cold due to vacuum loss, let off the gas pedal, heat would come back. My 2010 truck does the same thing as all my older dodge`s have done. I dont know for sure if dodge still use`s a vacuum source within their heating units today or not. If they do, they should wake up and fix the problem like everybody else has. Another thing i`ve noticed with these 4th gen trucks, every once in awhile you would experience a cold draft coming from somewhere. I dont think dodge will ever get it right with their heating & A/C units. I`ve owned chevy`s toyota`s ford`s (all trucks), not a one of them has ever had this issue like the dodge`s have had.
