^That's what I'd suggest.^ Jack up the back of the truck and put some jack stands under the frame just before the rear axle. If you have access to a torch burn the rivets from the outside of the frame and what's left of the old hangers will protect the frame to a certain extent if you're not very skilled.

Either that or you'll have to grind them off. Once you get the heads off the rivets you can knock the old one out.

Since the frame is supported by jack-stands it's easiest to put the jack under the rear axle and take the tire off (doing one side at a time). Use at least grade 8 bolts and nuts to put the hangers back on and then hang the springs on the shackles. I had my bed off which made it a whole lot easier.
