Don't like it. The last generation Dakota was pretty fugly, but functional. I agree with prior poster who said the older early 2000 era daks looked much better. I think my 2000 looked pretty good (for the 12 years old in the pic).

Here's what the market wants IMO, 4 door option, a useful 6.3 foot bed. Make it so you can option it up to be the little truck that does big work... 1,800 payload option, tow 8,000 pounds, less than 228 inches long so that it fits in most suburban garages and isn't a land barge. No bigger than 2005 Tundra, weight around 4,500 pounds. Make the V-6, 4.7, 5.7 or 4 cyl turbo diesel an option and bingo.

The snout/bumper on my 2011 Ram 1500 looks like it sticks out 6 inches. Wasted real estate if you ask me.
