if you need to pass emissions,leave it be or get high flow cats.if not,i say cut sounds alot better imo.

to fix it get a set of spark plug non-foulers(not sure on the size,but its the same as the o2 sensor)
take one of them and drill the hole out to 1/2 inch.screw that one on your o2 sensor.then,take the other,and screw over the one you drilled.
then you take the hole setup and screw it into where your sensor goes.

this acts like a spacer and makes less air get to the sensor and tricks it into thinking you have a cat.some say it doesnt work but it has been fine for CEL
